This is the simplest CanadaStream installation. Whether you own a Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Sony Bravia or another Android TV-based Smart TV, the entire flow takes under 10 minutes and requires no extra hardware or technical knowledge.
On Samsung Tizen, open the Apps tile from the home screen. On LG webOS, open the Content Store. On Sony Bravia, open Google Play Store.
Use the on-screen search and type "IBO Player". The official app appears as the top result. Select it.
Press Install. The app downloads and installs in under a minute. If it's not visible in your TV's store, you may need to switch your TV's region to USA or Canada in Settings → General → System.
Open the app. The welcome screen displays your unique MAC address and Device Key. Take a photo of the screen with your phone — you'll need both values for activation.
WhatsApp the MAC and Device Key to +1 (514) 447-7860. If you already placed an order, reply to your confirmation email. We upload your playlist directly to IBO Player's cloud — no manual typing needed.
Press the back/exit button to close IBO Player completely. Open it again from your TV home screen — your full CanadaStream library appears with Live TV, Movies, Series, Catchup and Settings.
From inside IBO Player, go to Settings → EPG and toggle the program guide on. The EPG populates automatically within 60 seconds.
Change your Samsung TV region to USA: Smart Hub → Settings → System → Country → USA. Sign out of your Samsung account, sign back in, then re-open the Galaxy Store. IBO Player will now appear.
Your TV needs webOS 4.0 or later (2018 LG models and newer). If your set is older, an Amazon Firestick ($40 CAD) plugged into HDMI is the cleanest workaround.
Sony's Google Play follows your Google account's region. Open Play Store → Settings → Account → Region and verify Canada is selected.
Get CanadaStream credentials within 10 minutes of payment. Install IBO Player. Watch.
